PEMF vs EMF

March 30, 2023by ResonaHealth0

If low frequency PEMF was hazardous, every living thing on the planet Earth would be dead.

The Earth emits PEMF in multiple frequencies 24/7 and has since beginning of time.

There are studies that show African tribes have extremely low cases of disease, leaky gut, and other ailments, and it’s believed that this is in part because they don’t wear shoes and their feet are grounded to the earth.

NASA has been using PEMF for astronauts since the 1970s. It is well known that PEMF is needed for the human body to maintain bone density and therefore astronauts on the space station use PEMF daily. PEMF is also required for astronauts to ever make it to Mars, because they need to simulate the grounding of the Earth to maintain health.

Harmful EMFs refer to high-frequency electromagnetic radiation that can potentially cause harm to human health. These include radiofrequency radiation (RF) from cell phones and Wi-Fi, and ionizing radiation from sources such as X-rays and nuclear power plants. Exposure to high levels of these types of EMFs has been linked to cancer, DNA damage, and other health problems.

On the other hand, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a type of low-frequency electromagnetic radiation that has been shown to have therapeutic benefits. PEMF devices use low-intensity, pulsating electromagnetic fields to stimulate cell growth and repair, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation. PEMF therapy has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, osteoporosis, and depression.

The key difference between harmful EMFs and helpful PEMF is the frequency and intensity of the electromagnetic radiation. Harmful EMFs are typically high-frequency, while PEMF therapy uses low-frequency electromagnetic fields. Additionally, harmful EMFs are often continuous, while PEMF therapy uses pulsating electromagnetic fields.

The earth puts out PEMF continuously about 0.5 Gauss. The VIBE unit puts out 8 Gauss, and there are PEMF units on the market that are at 300,000 Gauss.

Even those at 300,000 Gauss are classified as Class I medical devices, which are the same safety category as a Band-Aid, wheelchair, or a bedpan.

The VIBE is classified as a “FDA General Wellness Device” which makes them even safer than a Class I medical device.

EMF and PEMF are both electromagnetic frequencies, but that’s where the similarities stop. The electromagnetic spectrum is very broad and diverse as you remember from high school. It goes from super low frequency infrared light and ultraviolet light, visible light, to radio waves, X-rays and gamma rays.

In general, when people think about harmful EMF, they’re referring to high frequency emissions that are designed to transport information from one point to another like your cell phone to a radio tower or microwave transmissions that are trying to cover large distances. These are in the millions of Hertz or higher,

PEMF’s that we use in therapy devices are all below 1000 Hertz, or extremely ultra, ultra, low frequencies and they are not designed to transmit across space between two distances.

PEMF Therapy is proven to be safe and effective.
