I bought this for my mom, and she says she doesn’t know if it is running or not. She is confused because it goes to sleep so quickly and says she has no way to tell if it is running or if the program is complete. I am not there with her, so I cannot give her an answer to her question. Also, she doesn’t use the computer (she is 82), so she does not have access to videos or emails.

Here are some helpful tips to reassure your mom that the device is working:
✅ How to Tell If the VIBE Is Running:
Bar Movement
When the device is running, you’ll see a moving bar on the screen. It’s subtle, but it will “bounce” or shift slightly. That’s the main indicator that it’s active.
Program Duration
Most VIBE protocols last 20–30 minutes, and the device will go into sleep mode (the screen goes black) after a few seconds to save battery.
👉 Even when the screen is dark, the device is still running the program.
So if she presses Play, sees the bar move briefly, then the screen goes dark — that means it’s running as intended.
Program Complete
At the end of the session, the screen will briefly light up and return to the home screen. That means the program has finished.
🛠 Simple Tips for Your Mom:
Press Play and trust it’s working – once the screen goes dark, the device continues to run.
She can clip it on a lanyard or place it near the body (shirt pocket, bra, waistband) and just go about her routine.
If unsure, she can press Play again to restart the protocol. It won’t hurt to re-run it.
