Brain Wave Entrainment

Brainwave entrainment refers to the process of synchronizing the electrical activity in the brain with external stimuli such as sound, light, or electromagnetic fields.

Different types of brainwaves are associated with different mental states, and entraining the brainwaves can help induce these states and enhance their benefits. Here is an overview of the main brainwaves and their uses:

Alpha Waves: Alpha waves are associated with a relaxed, meditative state. They occur at a frequency of 8-13 Hz and are often observed when a person is in a quiet, reflective state. Alpha wave entrainment can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve creativity, and enhance overall relaxation.

Beta Waves: Beta waves are associated with a state of heightened alertness and focus. They occur at a frequency of 13-30 Hz and are often observed when a person is engaged in a task that requires concentration. Beta wave entrainment can help improve cognitive function, increase mental clarity, and boost energy levels.

Delta Waves: Delta waves are associated with deep sleep and unconsciousness. They occur at a frequency of 0.5-4 Hz and are often observed during periods of deep relaxation or meditation. Delta wave entrainment can help improve the quality of sleep, promote deep relaxation, and enhance spiritual experiences.

Gamma Waves: Gamma waves are associated with a state of heightened awareness and perception. They occur at a frequency of 30-100 Hz and are often observed when a person is engaged in activities that require intense focus and concentration, such as meditation or creative visualization. Gamma wave entrainment can help improve memory, increase focus and concentration, and enhance overall mental performance.

Theta Waves: Theta waves are associated with a state of deep relaxation and creativity. They occur at a frequency of 4-8 Hz and are often observed during meditation or when a person is engaged in creative activities such as writing or painting. Theta wave entrainment can help improve creativity, increase intuition and insight, and enhance overall relaxation.

Overall, brainwave entrainment can be a powerful tool for improving mental and emotional wellbeing, enhancing cognitive function, and promoting spiritual growth. By entraining the brainwaves to specific frequencies, it is possible to induce specific mental states and unlock their many benefits.

Would it be a mistake to do too many sessions on your first day?
    Thank you, Anthony

Hi Anthony — that’s a great and important question.

It can be a mistake to do too many VIBE sessions on your first day. The general recommendation from Mark L. Fox, the device’s inventor, is to start with 3 to 4 sessions per week for the first 30 days, rather than going all-in immediately. This allows your body to adjust gradually to the pulsed electromagnetic fields.

      Why go slow?

Everyone’s body responds differently, especially if you’re new to PEMF.

Doing too many sessions at once can overwhelm your system or cause temporary fatigue or discomfort.

Some people are more energy-sensitive and might feel overly relaxed, tired, or even lightheaded (due to endorphin release), especially after the first few uses.

“If people are in long-term chronic pain… and they run it five times a day, eight times a day, I tell them, don’t do that. You don’t need to.” – Mark L. Fox

We always recommend staying hydrated (drink plenty of water before and after your session) and tracking how your body feels after each use. You can then slowly increase usage if needed.

And of course, just a quick reminder:
