Study Overview
The EC2I Study is designed to evaluate whether VIBE-based protocols can improve a horse’s comfort, calmness, and overall quality of life over time.
EC2I stands for Equine Comfort and Calmness Index and measures:
- Physical comfort (pain, mobility, ease)
- Emotional calmness (stress, anxiety, behavior)
Each horse is measured against its own baseline so we can track real, meaningful change.

How to Use It:
- 1. Place the EquiVibe comfortably on your horse. Adjust the band tightness as necessary
- 2. Select the recommended protocol and press run
- 3. Insert the VIBE into the EquiVibe pocket
- 4. Your horse can go about normal activity—relaxing, playing, sleeping, or walking, or riding. This is therapy on the go.
Session Guidelines:
- Average protocol is ~40 minutes (range: 30 min to 2.5 hours)
- Use 3–4 times per week minimum
- Daily use is encouraged
- Consistency matters more than perfection
